Stereoscopic Pictures

A few days ago I saw the pictures of *Shockbolt with the stereoscopic effekt: [link] & [link]
and I was remembered of those cool 3D pictures, which took me years to see (well, I never really knew how to do it excatly) ... I was amazed once again by the effect and somehow it don't even look that hard to do such a picture, so I thought I might try it as well.

Well, it was harder than I thought, but I quite like the result.

So basically, you need to cross your eyes, so the two pictures will get four- two of them will merge in the middle and create the 3D picture.
For me it's easier if I take a very thin object (like a pencil maybe) and focus on it, while holding it in front of the screen- when the pictures start to pulsate (because your brain try to merge the whole thing to something that makes sense), you can try to "focus" more on the screen by moving your head slithely back- and forward. If everything goes well, you will soon see a 3D picture like for example in the 3D cinema (hope that's explained understandable- if not feel free to ask)
