Demon ID by OrmIrian Demon ID by OrmIrian
That's partly me, my room and some additional stuff I drew. :P
I just wanted a new ID, because I started really to dislike my old one...

Thanks :D Hmmm, I didn't like it that much anymore, that's why I replaced it. But if you liked the dragon better, then I will change it again- But probably with an improved version :D

I do like the dragon better, it reminds me of something off FF, maybe Evrae in FFX. :D

Then I will try to give it a more realistic touch and replace it again =P
Evrae? Yeah, maybe :D It's funny, it seems that I sometimes draw creatures, which have a big similarity with those in FF... Maybe my subconscious saves all those creature designs and recall and combine it when I need it :D

Funny that you mention that, because I seem to have designs saved in my subconscious from things I've played and seen, but I don't actually remember them as being something I've seen before, and I end up realizing some of my designs were similar to something in FF or etc, I like what you said, "my subconscious saves all the creature designs and I can recall and combine them when I need to", it's pretty much how I would explain my subconscious too! :P
A strange thing happened to me and my sister, I got my sister into playing FF years ago, and now we are both big fans, well, she told me about a dream she had, this was way before FFXII was ever mentioned, she had this dream about FFX but it was set in a Starwars atmosphere, the characters were visiting a cool place like Tatooine, I'd explain it in more detail but it was a pretty cool dream, so I may end up drawing it sometime! anyway, that's not all! after hearing her dream, I told her that I too had a dream about FFX in a starwars setting, coincidence? my dream was about FFX too, and Tidus and the other characters were wearing starwars-like accessories, Tidus had a cool visor and a power pack on his back like Jangofett the bounty hunter! :P weird coincidence that FFXII was slot like Starwars ! I always had this silly Idea that subconscious thought was shared like radio waves, and all Ideas are shared amongst people, so it would kind of explain why no idea is unique since we receive others Ideas at similar times. heheh :P

I think it's impossible for the human mind to do something else than combine and change already seen things for creating a new creature. I tried once to draw something unique, but there will be always a similarity with something that already exist :P
Dreams are still something very mystical... We can't really say why we dream the things we dream. My theory is that dreams are a mix of what we have experienced during the day, what we feel at the moment and sometimes even what we imagine what could happen.
It's really strange that you and your sister dreamt a very similar dream and it becomes actually (partly) true with the next FF! It's sound very futuristic your idea with those radiowaves-dreams. But who knows? Maybe it's the right idea. :) But some ideas are sometimes unique- when Einstein first talked about the relativeness of time, nobody else had a similar idea before or at the same time.

Yeah I would agree, we humans can't imagine truly unique things because it seems as though everything is indeed a collection of memories, and sometimes even when we think we have envisioned something unique, we then manage to find something like it already on earth or already imagined, I'm not sure of when Giant Crystals were first envisioned by someone as a neat fantasy or fairytale idea for stories and games, but cave explorer's found Giant crystals underground years ago, so there you go again, nothing is unique. :P

I know, it was a strange coincidence, I say they stole our ideas through some secret technology that can read peoples minds. :P
Yeah that is where there is an exception, there are unique individuals who seem to possess unique Ideas due to a unique mind, Einstein being one of them.

Yeah... There are many little creatures that uses things, we humans were always pride of- like for example the princip of a zip. That's why I think bionic is a very interesting science. Why not learn things directly from nature, instead trying to invent everything on our own?
I think it's important to realise that fact. It's probably more easier to be creative, when you combine all the know things to something "new", than trying to do it without any help.

Hehe- That would be a really scary technology ^^;
